RANDAL OG v CLONAKILTY

Randals met Clonakilty at Rossmore on Tuesday evening, 2nd August, in the first round of the junior B  football championship.
A great team performance overall, and a satisfactory result.

 How the scores came.

Clonakilty started strongly, scoring points in the fourth, fifth and sixth minutes to go three points ahead.
Nine minutes: Brian Dullea gets Randals’ first score – a point.
Ten minutes: Brian Dullea on target again, sends the ball diagonally across the square and into the Clon net, giving Randals' a lead that was never lost.
Twelve minutes: Ian Crowley increases the lead to two.
Fourteen minutes: Clon gets a point back
Sixteen minutes: Barry O'Driscoll cancels out Clon's last score - two ahead again.
Eighteen minutes: A pass from Brian Dullea sets up Sam Kingston for Randals' second goal  - 2-3 to 0-4.
Twenty four minutes: Stephen Crowley increases the lead to two goals.
Thirty minutes: Clon get the last score of the half.
Half time:   Randal Og  2-4  Clonakilty 0-5.


Thirty seven minutes: Clon score a point from a free.
Forty minutes:  Clon score another point.
Forty two minutes: Brian Dullea, from a free, gets Randals' opening second half score.
Forty three minutes: Brian Dullea scores from play.
Forty four minutes: Sam Kingston increases the lead to two goals again.
Forty eight minutes: Clon score again  -   a point, their last of the game.
Fifty one minutes: Gerard Lynch, from a free, restores the two goal lead.
Fifty five minutes: Fergal Kelly adds a point.
Fifty six minutes: Ian Crowley adds another.
Sixty two minutes: Brian Dullea gets the last score of the game, just before the final whistle.
