RANDAL OG v ST. MARY'S

Randals were at home to St. Mary's in junior football league game on Tuesday evening, 9^th August.

It was a fine dry evening, with whatever wind there favouring St. Mary's in the first half and they availed of this to do most of the scoring in the opening quarter. They were three points ahead by the seventeenth minute and they added a goal coming up to half time, to lead, 1-5 to 0-3.

Kevin Dullea and Gerard Lynch were our scorers in the first half.

Kevin Dullea and Gerard Lynch again and Barry O'Driscoll got points back in the third quarter, but with a little over ten minutes to go we were still behind, 1-8 to 0-8.

Three points, in as many minutes, from Kevin Dullea levelled the scores and then he crowned his efforts with the goal that put us ahead for the first time.

Five minutes were left, a few more scoring chances were created on both sides but there were no more scores.
