The semi-final of the junior B football championship was played on Sunday morning in  Drimoleague. Throw in was at 12 o'clock .
Starting team was: Denis Lynch, Conor O'Donovan, Aidan O'Brien, Barry Lynch, Stephen Crowley, Colm McSweeney, Patrick Lynch, Gerard Lynch, Shane Patterson, Johnny Collins, Fergal Kelly, Kevin Dullea, Sam Kingston, Brian Dullea, Ted Coakley.

Our opponents, Bantry Blues, were first to score, a point in the second minute. Fergal Kelly equalised on five minutes but Bantry came back with four points in succession and led by 0-5 to 0-1 early in the second quarter.
Brian Dullea sent over a point from a free after nineteen minutes and added another from play, a notable effort from an almost impossible angle. Another pointed free, from Gerard Lynch, in the twenty fourth minute left only one in it, but Bantry came again before half time to lead 0-6 to 0-4.
Early in the second half Brian Dullea was again on target from a free. Bantry again increased their lead over the next fifteen minutes to go four points ahead again. A strong south west wind did not help our scoring efforts but in one concentrated attack, a schmozzle in the Bantry goalmouth ended with the ball crossing the line to leave only one point in it.
Bantry scored again in the twenty fifth minute. On the thirty minute mark a Bantry penalty was put away successfully and they added two more points in injury time.
That left it:  Bantry Blues 1-12 Randal Og  1-5 at full time.
