The footballers played their third league game, this time away to Goleen, on Sunday evening last.
The snow showers forecast stayed but a bitterly cold easterly wind made a return and was a telling factor in a low scoring game.
Randals lined out as follows: Denis Lynch, Barry Lynch, Aidan O'Brien, Cian O'Neill, J J Hurley,
Shane Patterson, Seamus Crowley, Ian Crowley, Gerard Lynch, Martin Murphy, Sam Kingston, Patrick Lynch, Ronan Daly, Barry O'Driscoll, Donncha Collins.
Patrick Crowley, Kieran O'Brien, Ciaran Murray and Stephen crowley came on during the game.
Randals were first to score, when Sam Kingston sent over, from a free, in the second minute. Two points from Goleen put them ahead, Gerard Lynch, on the fifteen minute mark, got the equaliser from another free.
A point for Goleen was replied to again by Gerard Lynch, with about twenty two minutes gone, and the first goal came a minute later, from a move finished off by Barry O'Driscoll.
That made it 1-3 to 0-3 at half time.
The equalizing goal for Goleen came early in the second half within two minutes of resumption.
Scores were scarce in coming for the remainder of the game. Randals regained the lead with a point from Patrick Crowley on fifteen minutes. Goleen got a point from a free with twenty three minutes
gone.
Patrick Crowley was on target again, with time running out, to get what looked looked like the winning score.
But Goleen launched another attack and won a free, from which came another equalizer with
literally the last kick of the game.
Full time score: Goleen 1-5 Randal Og 1-5 .
