Randal Og 2-16 Bantry Blues 0-06
Randal's met Bantry Blues at Kealkil on Sunday evening last in the semi-final of the Carbery Junior B Football Championship.
It was a well contested game in the early stages with score for score in the opening quarter but Randal's were on top in the second half especially.
Bantry were first to score with two points in the first four minutes.
Conor O'Neill and Peter Collins made it level by the 8th minute mark and then Conor O'Neill from a free put Randal's ahead.
Bantry equalisied again but Peter Collins restored the lead and then Barry O'Driscoll scored the first goal of the game to make it 1-04 to 0-03 at the first water break.
Sean Daly was first to score in the second quarter. Bantry got back two but Sean Daly, Donnacha Collins and Barry O'Driscoll made it 1-08 to 0-05 at half time
Randal's were dominant for most of the second half with the defence well in controlled.
Three points from Barry O'Driscoll and one from Sean Daly left it 1-12 to 0-05 at the second water break.
In the last quarter, there were scores from Barry O'Driscoll (goal), Sam Kingston and Padraig O'Sullivan.
Bantry got a point from a free.
