2021 Carbery Junior B Hurling Championship Semi Final vs Bantry - 2021-11-23 20:32:00

Randal Og 0-08     Bantry Blues 1-08

The delayed Carbery Junior B Hurling Championship between Randal Og and Bantry Blues was played on Sunday last the 21st Nov in Aughaville.

In heavy going ground, there was little between the sides at any stage and even at the end there was only one score the decisive goal which won the game.

Cathal Duggan opened the scoring with a point and Sean Daly added another two minutes later.

Two pointed frees from Bantry and it was 0-02 all at the first water break.

All the scores in the second quarter came from frees. Bantry went two points ahead but Sean Daly got two more from frees to equalise.

Bantry gained the lead again but Sean Daly scored to leave it 0-05 a piece at half time.

Early in the second half Eoin O'Donovan gave Randal's the lead for the first time. Bantry equalised again.

The decisive score of the game came with Bantry finding the net to 1-06 to 0-06 ahead at the second water break.

Sean Daly scored from a free again. Donnacha Collins scored a great point to put just one between the sides but it was Bantry who got the next two scores.

Not our day, the hurlers are out again on Saturday 27th Nov against Freemount in the Semi-Final of the county @ 2pm in Donoughmore.
