Randal Og 0:14  O'Donovan Rossa 1:14

The first round of the county junior b hurling championship got under was on Saturday last 21st May against O'Donovan Rossa in Dunmanway.

Randal's started well with Patrick Crowley opening the scoreboard with a point followed by two more from Donnacha Collins.

Two frees put over by Sean Daly made it 0:05 to 0:00 after twelve minutes.

Skibb got their first score around the fourteen minute mark and it was an evenly contested second quarter.

Points from Sean Daly, Peter Collins and Donnacha Collins left it 0:11 to 0:07 at half time.

The scores were level early in the second half with Skibb scoring a point and a goal which proved to be the decisive on by the thirty eight minute.

Sean Daly from a free and Donnacha Collins put Randal's ahead again.

Three points in succession from 65's gave Skibb the lead for the first time, early in the final quarter.

Scores were hard to come by for Randal's in that period. 

Sean Daly got a point from a  free with ten minutes to go but O'Donovan Rossa got the last score to make it 1:14 to 0:14 at the final whistle.
