A long awaited game, the divisional junior b football final 2020 between Randal''s and Newcestown was played off at Enniskeane on Sunday evening last.

It was a game of two halves, in that the first half was well contested and saw Randal's holding a lead at half time and the second half was a one sided affair in which Newcestown were dominant.

Newcestown got the opening score with a point in the third minute.

Conor O'Neill sent over from a free.

Kevin Dullea gaining possession close in, put Randal's into the lead minutes later.

Newcestown, from a free made it level again at 0:02 a piece.

The first goal of the game came from a penalty, which was well put away by Conor O'Neill and he added a point from a free to make it 1:03 to 0:02 at the first water break.

Donnacha Collins, gaining possession close in racing through to put away a second goal for Randal's.

Newcestown came more into the game in the following period, scoring four points in succession.

A point by Sam Kingston close to half time mark left the game 2:04 to 0:06 at the small whistle.

Four points from Newcestown in the second half leveled the scores 2:04 to 0:10 and they added two goals late in the game, one from a penalty.

At the full time whistle it was Newcestown 2:10 Randal Og 2:04
